| Coalfield Community Transport have just taken delivery of their new Iveco 65C15 Accessible Bus. This adds to their fleet of 8 other vehicles. Their specification includes 16 Rescroft Defender III seats, PLS Powermatic underfloor taillift, power operated single leaf glider door, luggage racks down both sides with chilled air, climate control, satellite navigation system and CD player with PA system.
Coalfield based in Cumnock, Ayrshire cover a coastal area of approximately 345 square miles, visiting 17 villages. They can accommodate group travel, shopping and day trips. About four or five times a year they take clients on mini-breaks also known as "Away Hopper's". The schemes are basically for people in receipt of benefits, single parents, the disabled and people who are geographically disadvantaged. Their membership for this is in excess of 1,200 members with three quarters being over 70 years of age |
